Uses:

Basic tips for lighting a real fire

1. Screw up several sheets of paper, laying them on the fire grate
2. Lay kindling wood on top of the paper, or two or three firelighters
3. Light paper or firelighters
4. Keep a good constant draught until the fire is well alight
5. As fuel catches alight, add more fuel until the fire is the required size

Always use a safety guard, keep chimneys and flue areas clear and ensure appliances are well maintained and have adequate ventilation.
